Well, since I can't actually post there as I can't make an account, I figured I'd just ask you here. Why move to Seattle away from all the awesome rocketses? 8D
(actually I feel like I already know why since I live in Cali, where the "weather" is, well, always better).
Without the shuttles, its just not quite the same space coast. I kind of took the ending of he shuttle program as my hint that it was okay for me to leave. XD Anyways, the weather is a big reason why I want to leave Florida. Me and the heat just do not get along. Also, the Seattle area has more whales!
Well, as far as the Space Shuttle program goes, I hope you reconsider because in a few years when SpaceX starts launching rockets at a rate at of what we hope to be once a month or more, Cape Canaveral is get really big again I bet! Though I'm not sure how you would feel about all that rocket noise, or SpaceX .
And yeah, I hear you about the weather and all the no-see-ems. You should move to Lompoc or Santa Maria (California)! More rocket stuff be happening there. Plus great weather; We get a lot of fog in the Summer which makes it nice and cool, and cloudless days in the Winter which warms things up. Not sure about the whales since I haven't done much whale watching in Southern California.
Anyways, I hope whatever decision you decide to make turns out to be a good one
