About 20 inches high and 15.5 inches wide. OMG I did a REAL painting!
He's done in acrylics with gold leaf accents. Gold leaf is a pain in the butt but it looks pretty neat on there. What's left is a bit more leaf shading and some highlights but he won't end up looking much different than this.
I wish he'd have fit on my scanner. There's a slight blur due to the digital camera and me not really knowing how to take photos of paintings very well. Mostly, the colors are true to what they are IRL, but yeah, some depth of shadows was lost, likely because the flash went off.
When he's completely done, I'll look into how to take better photos.
But but.. YAY real painting! Its been over a decade since doing something on canvas and I'm really happy with how he turned out considering.. Now I wanna do more. I've caught the painting bug. ^_^!
